Langara Registered Massage Therapy is looking for one participant to receive 5-8 free supervised massage therapy treatments at the Langara Registered Massage Therapy Student Clinic at 601 West Broadway.
The masseuse will be writing up a report about the treatments and with the participants consent would like to submit them to the Registered Massage Therapy Association and the Massage Therapy Foundation for competition. Each treatment is tailored to the needs and tolerance of the participant.
The participant must be able to transport him or herself to the address stated above on certain dates that are available for appointments (some Monday and Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings in February, March and April).
She is looking for participants with cerebral palsy related chronic pain, but will also consider a person who has a different type of central nervous system disorder related chronic pain for participation if the person fits the other criteria as well.
