Last Saturday (November 23rd), we celebrated our 5th Annual Sledge Hockey Showdown at the Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex. Presented in partnership with the City of Surrey, the event saw 100 people attend, and a great day of sportsmanship, sledge hockey, and fun. Five teams competed, each one coached by a member of the BC Eagles Sledge Hockey team, with the Surrey Fire Fighters taking home the trophy.
A big thanks to all our participants (we hope you had fun), our amazing and helpful volunteers, our sponsorships (Happy Water and Papa Murphy’s), the generous donators, and of course, the City of Surrey.
