On Sunday, May 1st, 2016, 31 runners and wheelers came together as part of Team SportAbility to race in the BMO Vancouver Marathon.

Our current total raised as of May 9th is $11,828 – and donations are still coming in! Please let your friends and family know that donations can still be made through our Chimp fundraising page or by giving cheques made out to SportAbility.

Our top 3 individual fundraisers are as follows:
1. Fraser Beedie ($3700)
2. Mary Dwulit ($800)
3. Erin Sanford ($525)

SportAbility’s first appearance as an Official Run4Hope Charity was a huge success and not only helped us to raise funds to go towards the development of adapted sport in British Columbia, but also helped us increase awareness of our charity and all our wonderful athletes.

Stay tuned for next year’s call for runners and wheelers for the event – we can’t wait to grow our team and make next year’s race an even bigger success!

Thank you again to all our participants and everyone who donated! More photos from the event can be found on our Facebook page.
