Para Hockey Canada Athlete & Coach Development Sessions
Join us for a special evening at the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex featuring two unique development opportunities led by Hockey Canada athletes and coaches. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills on the ice or grow your coaching knowledge, there’s a session for you!
ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT SESSION
This on-ice session is designed for current para hockey athletes of all ages and abilities who have some prior para hockey experience. Participants will work directly with Hockey Canada athletes and coaches on skill development, drills, and game-related techniques in a fun and supportive environment.
Time: 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM
Cost: Free with a SportAbility BC membership

COACH DEVELOPMENT SESSION
Interested in coaching para hockey or looking to further develop your coaching skills? Join Hockey Canada athletes and coaches for a unique coach development opportunity. Open to existing coaches, volunteers, and players interested in becoming coaches.
Schedule:
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: On-ice coach development session
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner and discussion with Hockey Canada coaching staff
Cost: Free with a SportAbility BC membership

Both sessions are available through the same registration form. During registration, participants must select the appropriate option:
- Athlete Development Session (3:30 PM – 4:45 PM)
- Coach Development Session (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
