Vancouver Boccia Coach
When: Every Saturday 1:30-3:30pm starting April 26th
Where: Killarney Community Centre
What: Looking for individuals who are interested in coaching both recreational and competitive athletes. Looking to fill positions for the 2025 season (April 2025-Oct 2025).
Para Hockey Development Coach
When: Every Wednesday 7-8:15pm
Where: Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex
What: Looking for individuals with hockey experience that can help support our younger development players. Coaches needed for weekly program, training camps and events throughout the season. Training can occur over the summer but looking to fill position for the 2025/26 season (Sept 2025-March 2026).
Volunteer Positions
Some of our ongoing volunteer opportunities include:
- Technical Volunteers – This includes scorekeeping and officiating at tournaments, events and/or game days
- Event & Community Engagement Volunteers – Help us spread the word at various community events and fairs!
- Weekly Program Volunteers
- Board of Directors
- Classifiers – Become a technical or medical classifier
- Club Manager
- Coaching
- Sport Assistant

SportAbility is a non-profit, volunteer-driven association whose goal is to provide sporting opportunities for athletes with a wide range of physical disabilities. Staff members and volunteers of SportAbility are committed to the value, training, and support of our athletes with great professionalism and to provide everybody with an enjoyable experience in parasport.

Please note that volunteers will be required to become a member of the organization before attending their first program or event.
