Congratulations to Team Canada!!
Team Canada came away from the tournament with 3 Gold Medals and 3 Bronze Medals. Paul Gauthier (New West) is the Gold Medal winner in the BC3 catergory for both Individuals. Paul also won the Gold Medal in the BC3 Pairs with his partners Bruno Garneau(QC) and Eric Bussiere(QC). Hanif Mawji of Burnaby was the Bronze Medalist in the BC1 catergory for Individuals as well as in the BC1/2 team play with teammates Tammy McLeod(ON), Sylvain Dupuis(QC), Dave Richer(QC) and Brock Richardson(ON). In the BC4 Class, the pair consisting of Caroline Vietnieks of Burnaby, Josh Vandervies(ON) and Marco Dispaltro(QC) won the Bronze Medal. Caroline advanced into semi-finals and came out 4th overall while Josh finished 5th overall and Marco won the Gold.
