Women’s Sledge Hockey of Canada is in partnership with SportAbility, to host a development camp in Surrey, BC, July 18-20, 2014. We are recruiting girls and women of all abilities and skill levels to join us for a great weekend of sledge hockey development and camaraderie.
The camp will be held at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Centre starting at 4pm on Friday, July 18 and wrapping up by noon on Sunday, July 20. There will be four ice sessions led by Tara Chisholm, Head Coach of the Canadian Women’s Sledge Hockey Team and Derek Whitson, National Sledge Team Member.
There will be $50 registration fee to participate in this camp. If the registration fee is deemed to be a barrier for participation, a payment plan can be provided or the fee will be waived.
The camp is designed for girls and women of all ages and of all skill levels. Our coaches will plan drills and on ice activities that address each athlete’s individual abilities and skill level.
To support the development of Women’s Sledge Hockey in Canada, SportAbility will be providing Women’s Sledge Hockey Canada with full access to our equipment room to borrow sledges, sticks and protective hockey gear.
